What arrives at your door
Two sizes
30×40 cm and 50×70 cm. The larger one holds a wall above a sofa or a sideboard; the smaller one works almost anywhere.
Frames ready to hang
Light wood, dark wood, black or white, with a narrow moulding. Mounted behind plexiglass with the hanging fixture already in place.
The paper
On thick, matte art paper. The matte surface is a choice: a glossy one catches the light and makes the image read as a photograph rather than a painting.

Common questions
Which photos work?
An ordinary phone photo is enough, and most of the portraits we make come from phone photos. It works best when the dog is looking towards the camera in soft light, with the head large in frame. Busy backgrounds make no difference; they are painted away. Old and low-resolution photos work too, because we repaint the dog at print resolution rather than enlarging the photo.
What if my photo will not hold up?
We review every photo before we paint. If it will not hold up we get in touch and ask for another, and it costs you nothing.
When do I pay?
At checkout, when you place the order. The proof comes after that, and you approve it before we print. If you change your mind before production starts you get the full amount back.
When do I get the first proof?
Within 1 working day of your photo being approved. It comes by email.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes. Tell us what to change about the colours, the crop or the expression, and we do it again. At no extra cost and with no cap on the number of changes. Nothing is printed until you have approved it.
How soon will the portrait arrive?
Counting from the moment you approve the portrait: 2 to 3 working days for a loose print and 3 to 4 working days for framed, to your door in Sweden. Before that comes the photo review and the proof, about one working day each.
Is a frame included?
Only if you choose a framed option. A loose print costs 595 kr for 30×40 cm and 795 kr for 50×70 cm. Framed costs 1 190 kr and 1 690 kr respectively, in light wood, dark wood, black or white, ready to hang.
Can several dogs be in one portrait?
Not at the moment. We make one portrait per dog. If you have several dogs you order a portrait for each, and because the style is fixed they belong together on the wall even if you order them at different times.
What about cancellation and returns?
You can cancel with a full refund up until we begin work. We email you when production starts. After that the portrait is made to order and the right of withdrawal does not apply, under chapter 2, section 11 of the Swedish Distance Contracts Act. That is precisely why you always get to approve the portrait before it is printed. Transport damage and printing faults are always replaced with a reprint.
Will it really look like my dog?
You see the portrait before we print and can ask for changes until it is right. Nothing goes to print before you have said yes.
